Michael Watts, passed away on September 8, 2023 in Oak Lawn, Illinois surrounded by his wife and daughter. He was 65 years old. He was born July 19, 1958 in Fresno, CA to Jack and Marion Jeanette Watts. Michael was loved and cherished by his wife Katherine, his daughter Natalie, his father Jack (Sandra), his brother Jack Jr., his niece Rhiannon, and his great-niece Amara. Michael was a loyal friend to many. He could always be counted on for his strength, compassion, and advice. He will be remembered for his dry sense of humor and quick wit. Michael supported several charities including the Elmhurst-Yorkfield Food Pantry where he provided IT assistance to help keep up with technology changes as the pantry grew. He also volunteered for the pantry’s monthly mobile market program. Michael was the ultimate family man, always making his wife and daughter his top priority. His romantic and sentimental nature will be greatly missed by his family.

Dorothy Esmail, 95, a 62-year resident of Palatine, passed away in her home Thursday, August 29 2023. She was born in Chicago, Il on October 24, 1927. She was preceded in death by her husband John Esmail and her parents John and Nancy Odishoo and sisters Lillian, Doris, and Jean.
She is survived by her children Robert (Cheryl) Thomas and Debra; grandchildren Emily Kober (Philip) and Tyler (Victoria). Dorothy has 2 great grandchildren Jaxson and Finley Esmail. She is also survived by 2 sisters-in-laws, Carole (Jim) Porter and Miriam Esmail, along with many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was employed by Spotnails Corporation in Rolling Meadows for over 30 years. Her enjoyment in life was attending special family milestones through the years. She also participated in a monthly cousin club luncheon and church luncheon. She enjoyed following Chicago Sports on television. Dorothy was a member of St Johns United Church of Christ for over 30 years.
A memorial service will be held Friday, September 22 nd at St John’s United Church of Christ, 308 N
Evergreen Arlington Heights, il. Visitation at 9:30am with service to follow at 10:30am.

Mom gave us one job: watch her fanny pack while she was in the rehab center for physical therapy. Mom always said her life was in her fanny pack… and we lost her fanny pack on August 18th, 2023. In our defense, she never said which fanny pack held her life in it at the time… she had so many fanny packs! Was her life in the cow shaped one? In the blinding yellow one? In the obnoxious bedazzled one? Knowing mom, it was probably in the free fanny pack she got with her Costco membership… because the others were only for “special” occasions. If her life really was in her fanny pack, then that explains why it was always busting at the seams… her life was packed full of faith, love, struggles, humor, tears, and joy. But maybe her fanny pack was just crammed full of condiment packets from Cracker Barrel that she insisted came with the meal? We may never know since we never dared to “rummage” through it. Elaine Darlene Ratz (Slack) saw God’s promise in Matthew 5:8 fulfilled upon her passing on August 18, 2023. Our mom had the purest, most gentle heart. She loved without judgement and forgave without hesitation. Her wit brought us many smiles and her shoulder soaked up many of our tears. She was humble… always grateful to the Lord for his redeeming grace. We were blessed with the perfect (for us) wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved so deeply and was loved so deeply. We know, Mom… we aren’t saying goodbye… just see you later. Please join us on Sept 23, 2023 at 10am at The Pointe Outreach Center in Crystal Lake, IL for a celebration of mom’s life. Lunch will be provided… and if you’re wearing a fanny pack, feel free to take as many condiments you want in her memory.

Russell Louis DeLorge Jr., known to his loved ones as Russ, passed away on June 9th, 2023 at the age of 66 in Park Ridge, IL. He was born on December 2nd, 1956 in Bay City, MI to his mother Grace DeLorge and his late father Russell DeLorge Sr.
Russ was a graduate of Wheeling High School and served in the United States Air Force. He was a proud veteran and his service was an important part of his life.Russ was a long-time employee at Northrop Grumman and Plexus. He was a dedicated worker who took pride in his job.
In his free time, Russ enjoyed riding his bike and keeping up with the latest technologies. He was also a Chicago sports fan, especially the Cubs and the Bears. Russ was easy-going and enjoyed spending time with his dog Missy.
Russ is survived by his loving wife Laura Randazzo, step son Sam Randazzo III, his mother Grace DeLorge, his sister Susan DeLorge, his brother Steven DeLorge, Gina DeLorge, and niece Jaimee DeLorge and Aiden Schultz. Memorial services for Russ will be private.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Robert Frank Aulabaugh, 78 of Elgin and more recently Joliet, passed away suddenly in Chicago on May 29, 2023. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Joyce Celig Aulabaugh, his sons Scott Aulabaugh and Joseph Aulabaugh. He was the dear brother to Louellen Schweitzer (the late Bill), Kathleen (Jack) Pediog and Kerry (Cindy) Aulabaugh. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Robert E. Aulabaugh, his mother Amy Carr Lowman, his step-father William Lowman and his brother Kirt Lowman.
Robert attended Plainfield High School and proudly served his country as an Airman First Class. Outside of work Robert loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed his trips to Las Vegas and Biloxi, Mississippi.
Robert will be missed.

Died January 21, 2023 in La Grange, Illinois .Darlene Jane Ciolek, 91, of La Grange, Illinois, passed away on January 21, 2023. She was born in Berwyn and attended Morton High School. She later moved to unincorporated Lagrange. Beloved wife of 64 years to the late John Ciolek. Loving mother to Linda Isbell and David Ciolek (Annette) Devoted grandmother of 4 (Jordan, Dylan, Kaitlyn, and Kyle). Cherished great-grandmother of 2 (Skyla and Jaden). Dear sister of the late John Eiselt, Jr. Visitation at 10 AM with a Celebration of life at 11am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 11500 German Church Road., Burr Ridge, 60527.
