Theresa DiMare Mullins

69, of Bloomingdale, IL, died of cancer on October 22nd, 2024. Theresa was born in Ashtabula, Ohio on July 7th, 1955, to Stephen and Christine DiMare, one of five daughters, Barbara DiMare (Cortland, OH), Cynthia Zigmund (Silver Lake, OH), Patricia Allen (Sun City, FL), and Stephanie DiMare (deceased). She attended Ashtabula Harbor High School before majoring in Nursing at Kent State – Ashtabula and Youngstown State University. Theresa dedicated her career to helping others as a registered nurse across the hospital, school (Lakeview School District), and at-home setting. Theresa enjoyed traveling & hosting family gatherings, but most of all loved spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She will be missed most for her friendship and thoughtfulness. Theresa is preceded in death by her parents, Stephen & Christine DiMare, sister Stephanie DiMare and is survived by her husband, Bob Mullins (Bloomingdale, IL), daughter, Christina & Matt McGleam, grandchildren Abby, Charlotte, and Grant (Chicago, IL), and son, Jonathan Mullins & Stasi Gomez, grandchild Caroline (Westminster, CO). The family will honor the memory of their beloved wife, mother, and grandmother by holding a celebration of life ceremony in the coming weeks. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Pink Lights the Way organization.
