Sheila Brygider (née Banks)

born on November 24, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2025, in her hometown of Chicago. She was 83 years old. Sheila was the beloved daughter of the late Benjamin and Virginia Banks. She grew up in Chicago alongside her siblings and remained deeply connected to her roots throughout her life. Sheila was predeceased by her brother Theodore Banks, and mourned the loss of her great-niece, Catherine Ingram. She leaves behind a devoted family who will cherish her memory: her sister Catherine Ingram; her niece Virginia Pacholick; her nephew Mirel Ingram; three great-nieces; two great-great-nieces; and one great-great-nephew. Sheila’s presence will be missed by all who knew and loved her. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her.
