Manuel (Meme) Montes

of Chicago IL Age 55 Eternal Sleep Monday May 30th, 2022. Born and raised in Chicago October 1966. Parents: Heriberto J Montes & Prudencia Zapata de Montes Meme was the youngest of seven siblings. He attended and graduated from Kelvyn Park High school Class of 1985, then on to Job Corp for Administrative training. He worked many years with ABN Ambro in their financial copy center before their downsizing. Worked several locations thereafter. Volunteered many years as a docent for Lincoln Park Zoo. Meme loved animals. He also was avid reader, loved researching topics and loved to vacation when he could. Traveled to Europe several times. Visited the Salt Mines in Prague, proudly showing pictures of his travels. Meme loved to listen to music of all genres. One performer he was fond of was the late Teena Marie who played a couple sets in Chicago and he went to see her each night. Meme will be forever remembered for his endless generosity of advice, jokes, and love of music.
