Harold Eugene Rodgers

67, known by everyone who loved him as Gene, passed away on August 1st, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with Huntington’s Disease. Born March 6th, 1958 in Terre Haute, IN. He lived most of his life in Rockford, IL. Gene served his country in the Air Force and was a Master Machinist for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, being outdoors and watching the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears. Gene will be deeply missed by his son Jacob and his daughters Aimee (Kevin) and Karla (Ryan), his grandchildren Darren, Kaleigh, Makenna, Maryssa, Brenden, Bryanna and Brytnee. His sisters Diane (Dennis), Laura (Merle), Lisa and his brother Larry (Tina). Gene is proceeded in death by his parents Larry and Kathy and his brother Tony.
