Dorothy Esmail

95, a 62-year resident of Palatine, passed away in her home Thursday, August 29 2023. She was born in Chicago, Il on October 24, 1927. She was preceded in death by her husband John Esmail and her parents John and Nancy Odishoo and sisters Lillian, Doris, and Jean.

She is survived by her children Robert (Cheryl) Thomas and Debra; grandchildren Emily Kober (Philip) and Tyler (Victoria). Dorothy has 2 great grandchildren Jaxson and Finley Esmail. She is also survived by 2 sisters-in-laws, Carole (Jim) Porter and Miriam Esmail, along with many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was employed by Spotnails Corporation in Rolling Meadows for over 30 years. Her enjoyment in life was attending special family milestones through the years. She also participated in a monthly cousin club luncheon and church luncheon. She enjoyed following Chicago Sports on television. Dorothy was a member of St Johns United Church of Christ for over 30 years. A memorial service will be held Friday September 22 nd at St John’s United Church of Christ, 308 N Evergreen Arlington Heights il. Visitation at 9:30am with service to follow at 10:30am.
