Mary Sue Banks

(age 82) of Aurora IL passed away peacefully on 12/26/2025. Originally from La Grange, IL, she graduated from Lyons Township High School and went on to earn her degree from Northwestern University in Evanston where she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta. She was preceded in death by her father John, mother Margaret (Peg), and brothers John (Larry) and William (Bill) Banks. Mary Sue was a voracious reader, and will be remembered for her sharp wit and keen sense of humor. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution can be made to an animal welfare charity. She will be deeply missed and remembered fondly by her friends and family.
